Taking the
Limits Off Your Ministry Through Prayer – Jody Dennis
With whom
should I pray?
Pray in one accord (Acts 1:14). What should I pray?
Pray “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done” (Matthew 6:10).
When should I pray? Pray all the time, without ceasing (1
Thessalonians. 5:17). Where should I pray? In your
closet! (Matthew 6:6) Why should I pray? Pray to
receive mercy and find grace (Hebrews 4:16). How should I
pray? Pray conversationally (Philippians 4:6). In this
session, find new methods or revive the “good'ol’ ways” of
praying … over yourself, your ministry and the many people you
influence “as you are going.”
"I (Really)
Want to Use (multi)Media, But I Don't Know How: Using It
Smoothly, Making It Relevant, Keeping It Legal!" – Donna Strom
How can I make
my presentations more visually appealing? Where do I find all
those cool graphics and backgrounds I see on screen in church
every Sunday morning? What do you mean when you say “keeping it
legal”?
This session will give you a brief overview of what forms of
multimedia are available and, more importantly, desirable
to use in various settings/events. You’ll also learn key
factors of the copyright law regarding the usage of music, video
and graphics in your presentations.

The Nuts and
Bolts of Women’s Ministry – Jacqueline Heider
From starting a brand-new women’s ministry to energizing your
current one, this session will be fun, fun and more fun from
start to finish! Get ideas on event planning, discipleship and
outreach. Discover ministry tips, yearly theme ideas,
“how-to’s” and more. We will discuss the methods of starting a
women’s ministry and show you a plan that will guide you step by
step through the process. This session will be packed with so
much info and energy that you will be racing out the door to

On Your Mark,
Get Set, Go! – Jacqueline Heider
There are many ways to plan and organize a talk, but which one
is best for you? Would you like to learn a new, “in-depth” way
to study and understand the Bible? In this session, you will
learn a method of outlining Scripture that will help you better
organize your thoughts, fine tune your major points, drive home
your aim and help your listeners practically apply the truths
that you are teaching so that they can “live out” God’s best for
their lives.
Help! I’ve Been Called to Teach! – Caryl Havasy
When it comes to teaching the truth from God’s Word, there is no
greater model than our Master Teacher, Jesus. Find freedom in
modeling the Master as you learn to teach using basic principles
from Jesus’ own example. Are you intrigued, or intimidated? If
you have never led a women’s Sunday School class or Bible study,
or if you are a veteran teacher, this is the place for you! Be
encouraged as you learn from the greatest teacher ever – Jesus!
Organizing Your Classroom Closet – Liz Lowery
Every closest needs variety, organization and a little TLC! You
wouldn’t wear the same ol’ black skirt every day, would you?
And that pair of pants from 10 years ago might not fit or be in
style today. This session will help you “clean out your
(teaching) closet” by providing practical information on
classroom management, teaching methods and facilitating
discussions in an encouraging way. When it’s over, you’ll be a
stylin’ teacher!
Aah! The Perfect Accessory – Liz Lowery
They say “a picture’s worth a thousand” words, so adding
illustrations to your lesson is key in any form of teaching.
It’s the perfect accessory to make your message real. This
session is designed to teach you how to find, present and
effectively apply illustrations for your topic.
Sharing God’s Goodness Through Written Expression – Susan Martin
Aren’t there days when you just wish you could remember what God
specifically showed you in His Word? And times when you can’t
remember how He answered a question or a prayer concern?
Nothing affirms your spiritual growth or flexes your faith
muscles more than seeing your journey with God in writing. In
this session, you’ll learn easy steps to journaling and keeping
a written record of your prayers. You’ll also find out how to
share those thoughts with others and how to write short
devotionals for Bible studies.
